EURECOM is a graduate school of engineering and research institute in telecommunications located in Sophia Antipolis, France. It is a consortium of industrial and academic members including Télécom ParisTech, Politecnico di Torino, Aalto University, Technische Universität München (TUM), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh Ville (VNU), SFR, Orange, ST Microelectronics, Symantec, BMW Group Research and Technology, SAP, IABG, Monaco Telecom and the principality of Monaco. EURECOM’s Security and Privacy Group has a strong body of previous research in developing security mechanisms for cloud applications, self-organising mobile networks and the design and analysis of secure large-scale distributed systems.
Role in CLARUS Thanks to its expertise in applied cryptography and security, EURECOM will mainly be involved in the design of the security and privacy framework to propose new solutions for verifiable and privacy preserving data storage and processing. EURECOM will also participate in the implementation of these modules and the design of the CLARUS architecture.
